First edition, "La Librairie des Editions de Minuit (sur Bouffant)" issue, limited to 92 numbered copies, this copy is number 87. 12mo. White printed wrappers. Slight soiling on fore-edge of two leaves, a fine unopened copy in publisher s unprinted near fine glassine dust jacket lightly tanned on the spine and with a small chip at head of spine. Publisher s numbered slip laid into the book matching the limitation number on verso of title page. The French novelist Claude Simon, often identified with the nouveau roman movement, won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1985. Seller Inventory # 498939
