Possibly the most difficult Edwards book to find in a jacket--at least, that was the case for me. This G+/VG- book has blemishes but is in very respectable condition. The exterior is clean but has a slight slant and lightly bumped head and heel of the spine without fabric damage. It also has water damage along the bottom 2" on the front cover (only the end pages are affected, having red stain along the bottom 1/2") and along the top 1", which does not affect the interior at all; the rear board also has water damage along the top 1", but there is no staining to the end pages or text pages (see photo). Except for a penciled 1934 inscription on the half-title page, the interior is free of writing, stains or any sort of page damage. Hinges are tight and the lightly toned paper is quite flexible. The jacket is complete and intact with slight water damage to the lower spine and the bottom of the front panel (see photos). There is also a chip (of paint?) on the "T" of "Fortune" on the front panel. Otherwise, the jacket is rather clean and free of the normal wear-and-tear damage of many jackets. I believe that you'll agree that this is a very presentable book and jacket. Seller Inventory # BMR-2019-5-12-3
