The first edition of Laurence Durrell's Faustian novel. The first edition. In the original unclipped dust wrapper. 'Tunc' is the first in a two novel series by Lawrence Durrell. It follows the inventor Felix Charlock and his encounters with the 'Merlins'. This is the first novel in The Revolt of Aphrodite Duology. Though well regarded, these works are less successful than The Alexander Quartet because they deviate from his earlier style approaching political ideologies openly. In the original publisher's cloth in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally very smart. The dust wrapper is bright and clean. The boards are bright and clean.
