B&W Illustrations; This is a trade sized paperback book. The book is in Very Good condition and was issued without a dust jacket. There is a small chipped tear to the bottom front spine joint of the book cover. The spine ends and corners of the book covers have some very light bumping and rubbing. The text pages are clean and bright. "In 1952 his first three novels were published in the Winston juvenile series, one of which (Rocket Jockey) appearing in an Italian-language edition in the same year. In the 1950s, del Rey was one of the main authors writing science fiction for adolescents (along with Robert A. Heinlein and Andre Norton).
