Very good book in light blue buckram covers with titles in red to front and gilt to spine; pasted-on picture of four men manning a cannon on the gun deck of a galleon; interlaced red and black decorative design to front and a lightly sunned spine. Internally very good; prize plate to flyleaf; illustrated with two full colour plates; frontispiece with tissue guard; binding tight; very minor foxing only; 238 pp + 2pp adverts.
