Original hardcover first edition, 1916, 387 pages, followed by index. Rice Tree Chart in excellent condition at end of book; historical photograph, annotated with b + w illustrations. Very solid book with strong, cloth boards, gilt still on spine. A few pages at book beginning have slight tear at inside gutter, but book binding integrity feels strong if book is handled with care. Age-toning to the pages; previous owner name inside front endpaper. Page opposite title page bound slightly askew. Collectible copy. c5.
