Item description from seller

Quarter-bound ceam cloth spine over red linen-like cloth on boards. Book is tight, square, particularly sharp-cornered and free of all markings or flaws inside and out, other than small signature of prior owner on the inside front cover. Prior owner was friends with the Roths here in Maine. Multiple maps and photographs throughout. Clipped pictorial glossy Dust Jacket has a stunning full color photo of Whisper, the author's boat, set against a huge cliff with a glacier meeting the sea - wraps around from front to spine to rear. No fading, no scuffing to jacket. Would be fine but for the clipping. Laid in is an article from the Blue Hill, Maine area where author was a part-time resident and kept his boat on occasion. 288pp 1st/1st.
