Patricia Highsmith's most elusive first edition. Book is tight. Binding and hinges are strong. Endpapers are clean aside from a very small amount of toning and a vintage bookseller's ink price stamped on upperright corner of FFEP. Book shows a slight lean. Original DJ with $3.50 price intact on DJ flap. Small chip to crown of DJ backstrip. Light rubbing along edges and folds. Basis for a 2014 film sharing the same name.
