Internally excellent. 352 pages, 2 colour, b/w plates, many b/w illustrations, maps Two books in one detailing the lives and adventures of African explorer Henry Stanley (Brice),192 pages, and polar explorer Fridtjof Nansen (Bain) 160 pages. While a tight copy, some evidence of an eary repair.
