Basis for two black and white RKO films, the first a 1936 feature titled, Two in the Dark, directed by Benjamin Stoloff and starring Walter Abel and Margot Grahame. The second is the Film Noir, [The Dark Page, Kevin Johnson] 1945 production directed by Anthony Mann (his directing debut) and starring Tom Conway and Ann Rutherford.
