First edition, with dust wrapper. Orange boards with dark lettering are lightly discoloured. Head and tail of spine rubbed and bumped. Binding is neat and tidy. Page edges are showing some discolouration, particularly at the head edge. Previous bookseller's stamp on front pastedown. Previous owner's name at the head of preface. Pages throughout lightly discoloured due to age, else book is in good condition. Dustjacket is well rubbed and thumbed. Spine sunned and discoloured. Piece missing from the tail of spine. Some more signs of use and creasing towards the edges. Edges bear some tears. Back cover has some scuffing and rubbing. General discolouration. Head edge has some small tears and one or two chips, because of this we describe the dust jacket as being in poor condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously but they usually present better than they sound.
