First edition thus #498 (preceded by the 1894 hardcover release among others) 2nd impression stated; of a very good softcover with minor wear to the extremities, some darkening to the spine and pages toning. The famous historical adventure novel by this author, it was the basis for the 1923 silent film of the same name starring Robert B. Mantell, and the 1937 film of the same name starring Conrad Veidt.
