First edition of the author's first book, issued here as the third number of the occasional periodical 'Living Hand', printed at The Compton Press, Wiltshire and "published several times a year". Slim 8vo. Unpaginated. Lettered card wrappers, lightly faded at the spine and with a narrow strip of very faint toning to the fore edge margin of the upper wrapper, yet still considerably fresher than is usually found. This copy inscribed in pencil at the head of the first leaf by the printer Humphrey [Stone] to his brother-in-law Jonathan [Gili]. Very good indeed. Thirty-three poems, the author's first book, preceded only be a couple of translations from the French. Seller Inventory # ARC93964
