The Unity of God. A Study in Christian Monotheism.

Book Description: London: Mowbray., 1952. 1st ed. "This book shows how the Christian belief differs from other forms of monotheism, and that it was normative in the formulation of the doctrine of the Incarnation and finds its complete expression in the doctrine of the Holy Trinity. The author then points out how neglect of its significance has led to unworthy theories of athe Atonement, and to faulty opinions about the Church. Finally he shows how some modern ethical theories are inconsistent with this central tenet of the faith, criticizing in some detail the opinions of Niebuhr, Bergson, and Lord Lindsay." Pp.202.
