Scarce account on the Holocaust, with 44 photographic illustrations showing the horror of the concentration camps. The book includes several personal accounts by survivors and photographs, taken in Belsen, Buchenwald, Nordhausen, Dachau, Mittel Glattbach, Gotha (Ohrdruf) and Schwabmünchen (Hurlach, Kaufering IV) as well as photographs of the execution of László Endre and Ferenc Szálasi, the leader of the National Socialist Arrow Cross Party (the Hungarian Nazi Party) and a 280-page list of the known victims of the Hungarian Holocaust. . The 44 stunning blueprint photographic illustrations are from the Daily Mail and the Mafirt (Hungarian News Agency Co.): images of deportation of Hungarian Jews, Hungarian labour camps and concentration camps in Dachau, Buchenwald, Bergen-Belsen. +++++ The book has a 215 pages extent section which lists thousands of names of victims of the Holocaust. +++ Red half cloth binding with cream hard cover boards. Gold lettering on the spine and front cover. Slight wear to the boards and spine but the book in overall good condition. The book has it's original dust jacket. The jacket has some minor losses, - it is very rare. It has two important features: Illustrated with numerous authentic photographs of the Hungarian labour camps, as well as the Jews deportation from Hungary. Among the contributors some Jewish survivors.The volume reports also of the fate of the Hungarian fascist after the war, with their photographs. The book has a preface by Nagybaczoni Nagy Vilmos. The book lists by name thousands of Jewish victims. Extremely rare. OCLC lists only three copies in USA. Never before with dust jacket on the market.
