Comes with dust jacket, not price clipped and a little worn and torn around the edges, nicely lined with blank white paper behind and a translucent cover over the dust jacket itself for added protection. The book is in nice clean condition and as its a used book normal wear, marks and tear apply consistent with use and age. Pen and ink name and address dated 1953 on first blank page. First Edition, published in 1938 by Ward, Lock and Company Ltd. Printed in England by L.T.A. Robinson Limited, The Botolph Printing Works, London. 199 pages, all intact and in good, clean, readable order, tight binding. An absolutely stunning book, and the colour plates are exceptional images, definitely worth preserving for future generations and butterflies enthusiasts.
