Includes a cover especially designed by Henri Matisse and 2 of 4 LITHOGRAPHS by Abraham Rattner and Francisco Bores (missing are the first 2 by Fernand Leger and Joan Miro) with heliogravure reproductions from many artists, as well as photos by Man Ray. This volume also includes some early letters and sketches from C�zanne to �mile Zola and the first photo of Picasso s Guernica by Dora Maar. This item has 2 large chips missing on the spine and a slight yellowing of the pages and still has the coronet esquire gold seal on the title page. Besides the 2 missing lithos all other pages are present, good condition.
