A vintage first edition in nicely collectible dust jacket. Former owner's name, date and 'Los Angeles' written to the upper front end-paper corner, some small mild soil spots to the upper and fore-edge page edges, else very good plus in blue linen boards with gilt embossed titles to the spine; in a near fine dust jacket with fabulous detailed crime scene art by Robin Jacques, with a touch of darkening to the spine panel, minuscule rubs to the upper and lower spine edges and corner tips; front inner flap price-clipped with publisher's newly stamped price 7/6D. NET; rear panel author promotion information augmented with a bow-tied, pipe-smoking author photo. The dust jacket will be placed in a clear protective, removable sleeve after photographing for this entry. …
