Softbound with green paper wraps with black lettering. The covers are worn, with some paper loss on spine and the front cover is detaching from the spine - a 1 inch tear on the top. The contents are in similar condition with a couple of pages also separating from the text block on the top. There are two library stampings, one on the front cover and one on the verso of the rear cover. Despite the stated flaws, this is still a good working copy. ; The contents are divided into two parts- Part I is the "Basis of Human Classification" and Part II is the "Method of Classification." Part II is further divided into the varieties, the subvarieties and nomenclature. Sergi stated the the cranium is the most important and most characteristic part of the human skeleton. He used the shapes of the cranium to classify the varieties of humans. ; In text drawings ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 61 pages pages.
