About the Author

Tom Baer is the author of VectorWorks 9 for Windows and Macintosh: Visual QuickStart Guide. As an industrial designer with over 25 years of experience, Tom has used not only VectorWorks (and its predecessor MiniCad), but also the high-end MicroStation CAD software in the development of projects over the past 10 years. Along the way, he has taught both philosophy and industrial design; he is well aware of the virtues of a clear explanation. Tom currently works in the Orthopaedic Biomechanics Laboratory at the University of Iowa.
