1st edition. 8vo. Complete in 2 volumes. 104 pages in total with family pedigree. The full title is "Vestigia Mortoni: A Collection of Notes Relating to the Family of Morton of the Wapentake of Strafford, in South Yorkshire". In the first part the covers have been replaced by card covers with a cloth backstrip. The 2nd part has the original front cover and a replacement rear cover, again with a more recent backstrip. Both parts are heavily and neatly annotated and bear the withdrawn stamp of the Yorkshire Archaeological Society. A very scarce pair - generally Near Very Good.
