[1]-[232] pp., illustrated with a total of 12 full-page color illustrations, with the titles printed under the images, and 22 various sized, black & white drawings by Arthur Rackham. Dark blue cloth with titling and rose device gilt on the spine, and gilt titling and Rackham rose design on the front cover; design-printed, light olive-green endpapers by Rackham; top-edge gilt. The front designed endpaper shows a gift inscription in ink: Margaret M. Halle From Walter & Helen Dec. 25th 1929. Light fading to spine, light rubbing to edges; the endpapers, half-title show light, age-related tanning, some light tanning to the color plate margins, page edges. "There is a trade edition bound in dark blue cloth with pictorial stamping in gold on the cover and spine and gold lettering. Size of page, 7 1/2 x 9 7/8. This edition has the same number of illustrations and the same end-papers as the limited edition. There is also a binding in Persian Morocco."
