This 1947 Vanguard 1st Edition/1st Printing is Bellow's second novel. Condition: The hardback is in Good condition. The boards are the classic black with the blue tinted top edge pages. The is some wear at the corners and the spine's top and bottom hangover cloth. The dustjacket is a later (3rd printing, 1964-5) rendition with a $5.95 price. It shows wear at the top and bottom of the spine and at the upper and lower folds. A very hard book to find. Seller Inventory # 010494
