184 p. 26 cm. Sound and square binding in cloth-covered boards. Ding to both boards on the fore-edges. Otherwise, no wear. Inside pages are clean and unmarked. Dust jacket has a little light edge wear and some shelf rubbing and a little soil. A representative selection of the best work produced for children from the 1860s through to the end of the 19th century. Commentary by Maurice Sendak. Illustrated in colour and black and white.
