The author grew up in the Mekong Delta region and learned cookery from her mother. In these 96 pages she presents recipes grouped as follows : Vegetables, Pork, Seafood, Poultry ,Beef, Soups, & Sauces. Note: no SWEETS. Illustrations are brilliant colour photos of completed dishes, but techniques such as folding rice papers are b/w drawings. Book opens with a glossary and closes w/ an INDEX. Cond : Paper wrapper is greenish w/ black or white lettering. Cover graphic is a colour photo of Grilled Pork Balls and Skewered Beef (back). VERY minor wear at some corners, edges sharp, colours bright. Binding tight, spine fine !! No names nor marks. Neither tears, stains nor folds. Very minor creases, clean. Decidedly giftable !! Quote (p. 34) : " . into lengths of 7-8 cm. Soak cloud ear fungi in hot wate for 20 minutes. Wash and drain. Discard the hard parts and chop finely. Soak Chinese mushrooms in . ." Size: 4to.
