Orange cloth quarter-bound to spine over patterned blue cloth on boards. Front cover has bright gilt publishers device and spine has bright, as new gilt lettering. Book is tight, square, sharp-cornered and free of all markings or flaws inside and out - Fine or better. Nice map endpapers. Clipped Dust Jacket has orange background that's moderately faded on spine but with very little to no scuffing or shelfwear. "A book about one of the world's melting-pots in the mid-twentieth century." An autobiographical account of the author's travels with her husband and young son. Harper's code H-G on copyright page - Stated as First Edition. 240 pp.
