Octavo (22cm); maroon cloth-covered boards, with titling stamped in gilt on spine, and titling and decorations stamped in black on front cover; [iv],[7],8-372,[4]pp. Wm. J. Kline's pictorial bookplate to front pastedown, with his pencilled ownership and 1876 date to front endpaper. Shelf-wear and -soil, with loss of cloth to spine ends, rubbing to board edges, and tiny chip to upper margin of front flyleaf; Good. Collection of interviews with contributions by William Cullen Bryant, Horace White, and Mary L. Booth. This copy presumably from library of William Jay Kline, publisher of Amsterdam Recorder. [89006].
