Store description

The Village Booksmith is located on U.S. 4 in the center of Hudson Falls, NY. Hudson Falls lies halfway between Saratoga Springs and Lake George. It abuts with Glens Falls and Queensbury. The store is open year around, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. The Store has been at this location since 1976. We maintain an inventory over 100,000 titles. The store is clean and has good lighting. Books are organized by category. Most sections are shelved alphabetically by author. "Each time we return to this perfectly wonderful bi-level shop we are impressed by its collection, particularly strong in mystery, cookbooks, travel and general fiction. The books here, we believe, are a true bargain and the quality of the collection is quite high." David S. and Susan Siegel in The Used Book Lover's Guide to the Mid-Atlantic States
