All edges dyed in matching marbled pattern from boards. Minor wear to all edges and spine of Vol. 1. Matching marbled end papers. Original engraved half title and frontis in both volumes. 46 B/W plates and numerous in text illustrations throughout both texts. All illustrations on steel and wood by author. Text is bright and clean.
