Brown 1/4 leather, brown cloth, spine panel lettered in gilt, deckled text block edges. xi,122,[2] pp. Ex-libris, Easton (Pennsylvania) Public Library, with minimal treatments (label mounted on lower spine panel, embossed stamp to title page). Front joint mended, spine leather typically scuffed on ends. Corners rubbed with modest exposure. Book plate apparently removed inside front cover with consequent surface paper loss, paper residue from removed treatments on rear endsheets. Contents typically foxed but otherwise intact. Inscribed on upper main title by "William Penn of Pennsylvania" (a descendant of the commonwealth's founder), dated 16 Oct. 1811 to Samuel Sitgrave (a prominent citizen of Easton, PA), with the added comment "Senatori emerito causidico perito mihi inter Sodales memorando." Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
