174 pages, softcover in thick wraps, 10.25" by 8.5". Superb catalog produced to showcase a major collection of Inuit Eskimo art, with 100 items profiled and over 60 artists represented, working primarily in sculpture. The book groups the artworks thematically - ivories, face clusters, shamans, humans and animals, spirit voyages, and more - and also includes a recounting of a trip to the Arctic by one of the collectors. Uncommon and very highly recommended. In excellent condition save for light rubbing to edges of cover.
