Oblong 4to. title, list of plates, 26 steel engraved plates with captions, 2 folding maps of the Red Sea, translated from English by P. F. Henry, contemporary hard boards, repaired with new spine & end papers, spotting & foxing throughout. The plates depict landscape views taken during the journey. Three plates relate to Arabia: 1- Tombeau d’un Chaik en Arabie. II- Factorerie Anglaise a Mocha (Yemen) III- One folding plate depicting Kufic calligraphy found at Dhalac.
