Original green cloth covered beveled boards decorated with gilt title and author, as well as a color decoration of Wallypug, Doctor-In-Law and A. Fish Esquire out for a ride in "The Snail". (You will just have to read the book!) There are a few spots on the cloth where the color has been touched up but this is still an extremely nice copy of the book. Patterned endpapers. [36]pp. Twelve wonderfully outrageous full page, full color illustrations by Alan Wright as well as numerous three color drawings (black and white and red) within text for this humorous collection of fantastic tales featuring "Wallypug", a king who isn't really a king and his humanized animal subjects and the unlikely adventures that they have. This is really a funny book and the condition is great. Inner hinges cracked but otherwise the condition of the book is NEAR FINE. Extremely rare, especially in such nice condition.
