Laminated Card covers, 245 x 185 mm approx. 114pp + index and double page maps to front and rear. Illustrated with 13 colour and many b/w photographs and drawings. The copy offered by us has loosely laid in a letter addressed to Stone Chance from Roger Carr one of the co-authors acknowledging the valuable contribution made to the production of the book. (Chance Bros. Lighthouse Engineers and Constructors, Birmingham supplied the First Order Fixed Light in July 1886 and their scale drawings are featured in the book). The book is also signed in ink by both authors to the front free end paper with no other previous owner name or insc. VG (Book- A little light rubbing to card covers. No other notable defects).
