A fine copy in beige cloth with black and gilt lettering and pale green topstain in a near-fine, bright dustwrapper with the original $2.50 price, minute wear to the spine ends, and slight toning to the rear panel. The Wild Palms, subsequently published under the title If I Forget Thee, Jerusalem, tells two interwoven stories which alternate chapters, each telling a different yet equally captivating tale of a complex relationship between a man and a woman.
