CONTENTS DESCRIPTION: Author's hunting adventures based on the author's daily journal entries during his hunts, very readable style. A great Northland hunting book; especially when paired with the author's other books, The Wilderness Of The Upper Yukon and The Wilderness of Denali. Sheldon used annotations from his daily journals to recount his experiences as a hunter. Most often he hunted alone into country for which he was the first to explore; no one to tell him where to go, how to get there, or what to expect upon his arrival. In this volume, he visits, among others, Vancouver Island, Montague Island, Admiralty Island, and the Queen Charlotte Islands. Seller Inventory # 580186
