Beige hardcover cloth binding is square and tight, hinges weak, some shelfwear, back library pocket intact with lots of library stamps. Book is worn but a decent reading copy. Last page with pocket has been reinforced. DJ has spine sticker, some wrinkles, but overall clean and crisp. Not price-clipped. Five other Ariel Books Especially for Boys listed on back of jacket - includes A wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle and Treegate's Raiders by Leonard Wibberley. 250 pages. 17 year old Rusty is left to restore his family's Thoroughbred breeding farm Matten Acres with the help of Mexican Padre Garza.
