Walking the Spiritual Path with Practical Feet: Ten Visionaries Who Make a Difference

If we're fortunate, we come across a book that stops us in our tracks and reminds us that, as George Eliot said, "It's never too late to become who we might have been." (From the Foreword by Sam Horn.) Do you ever feel that the path you are on and the path you'd like to be on are not the same or have in the busy-ness of ever day life - diverged? Would you like to discover ways to live a more purposeful life?

If your answer to these questions is yes, then put yourself into the hands of ten visionaries (from business leaders to religious leaders to healers and mystics) who gently remind us how to reconnect with the spiritual essence that resides deep within each of us. Moreover, the authors of Walking the Spiritual Path with Practical Feet affirm that the spiritual and the practical are intertwined, that most of us cannot take a month at a spiritual retreat to connect with our soul. So, their advice is both inspirational and concrete; they will give you discrete and powerful exercises to integrate your spirit with your daily life. Each chapter concludes with a summarizing box of insights that you can act on immediately.

Walking the Path with Spiritual Feet is a book that offers both great challenge and great comfort. It is a book you will keep by your bedside and dip into time and time again. Susan C.
