A handsome, and very scarce, volume of Scottish poetry from 1922. Wandering Thoughts and Random Rhymes, Arch. J. Rose, Late Burgh Procurator-Fiscal, Airdrie. Published by Baird & Hamilton, Limited, Airdrie, 1922. First edition. A very scarce work with only 5 institutional copies located worldwide on Worldcat, and we've been unable to locate any previous sales record. A fine hardback bound with later navy blue leather spine and corners, with raised bands around the burgundy morocco label, with marbled paper over boards. Soundly bound. Text is in lovely bright, clean condition throughout, with a little age-toning to the paper. A few occasional age spots to edge of text block. A very attractive copy of an uncommon book of poetry. Text in English/Scots. 111pp + 3pp. Includes portrait frontispiece. Dimensions: Approx 220mm high x 145mm wide x 17mm deep. Weight: Approximately 314g (unpacked). More photos on request.

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
Expensive volumes may also require insurance and we will confirm postal costs including insurance to you. We can also provide the option of fast international courier delivery and this is particularly recommended for rare books.
