A first edition of A. Bonnet Laird's work with illustrations throughout. First edition. Illustrated with frontispiece and seven plates. Collated complete. Written under the name A. Bonnet Laird which, according to Copac, was the pseudonym of Roy Frank Johnson. Little is known about the author of this volume, their other titles including 'My Part of The Country' And 'One Minute A Day'. Illustrated by Donald Maxwell, an English writer and illustrator noted for his topographical paintings. In the original green cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine and boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. Very Good.
