About the Author

Quite the renaissance woman, M. Rose Barkley has by choice or circumstance, transformed herself into a myriad of personas. A native of Southern New Jersey, Barkley has been writing for over two decades. Her debut release, Wayfaring Stranger, is but a glimpse of her profoundly prolific talent. An anomaly of sorts, Barkley graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Real Estate and Urban Land Development. Irregardless, the author states: "My poetry levels me at times of imbalance and uncertainty-It is the undergird of all else I am and everything I might ever be."

And "be" she does. M. Rose Barkley's many accomplishments include: Publisher, Motivational Speaker, TV Producer, Real Estate Consultant, Talk-Show Host, Editor and even Baker. In the author's own words: "Living life is serious business and if you're doing it well you haven't time for anything else and nothing else is more satisfying."
