Green publisher's cloth decorated in black & gilt, former owner's name on the front paste-down (1983), frontispiece, maps, and illustrations from photographs. 223 clean pp., some pages creased at the top corner, rear end papers include adverts for railway services, inns, and other books published by the Homeland Association. The advert for the Homeland Handbooks Series at the back of the book is dated August, 1914. This title is the sixth book of the Homeland Pocket Books series. "Detailed instructions for thirty footpath rambles within easy reach of the Metropolis." Scarce.
