First Edition. Hardcover in Very Good Condition. Red Cloth with gilt on spine and front board; Top end in gilt. Edge wear on all edges; corners and spine ends bumped. Top Corners are bumped to the point where the coardboard is exposed, and there is a .25" chip on the rear top edge. The cloth is slightly soiled, but remains very bright, as does the gilt. The interior is very bright and clean; the binding is excellent. For a book of this age it is in a very good state, and is not fragile at all.
