About this Item

This first edition is uncommon in dust jacket, which matches the book cover exactly. It is a Very Good copy due to wear to top and bottom of spine tips and edges. The book itself is internally Fine. It is wrapped in a Near Fine dust jacket. The book is brilliantly illustrated throughout. The Caldecott-winning Provensens produced the cover art, endpapers, and title page. This is one of their earliest art efforts, which preceded their first solo/duo effort: "The Fuzzy Duckling" Golden Book. Seller Inventory # 110321-1
