Octavo, 228pp. About very good in the publisher's plain brown wraps with label. Spine cocked, some gently foxing to extremities, and some mild shelfwear. Attractive bookplate on the verso of the front wrap. Scarce proof copy, with dozens of pages of hand-corrections in pencil (we are unsure who made them).
