With an etched frontispiece and 15 drawings. 264 x 204mm, greyish brown pictorial cloth, spine lettered in gilt, blocked in black, upper cover lettered & blocked in red & black, pp.[xii] 222 + final blank leaf, frontispiece & 15 mounted plates. Laid on front pastedown is a presentation inscription on Farringford notepaper from Lady Tennyson, dated 17th December 1925. [Farringford was the poet Alfred Tennyson's home on the Isle of Wight]. Cloth frayed at ends of spine, binding rubbed & slightly soiled, some leaves marginally browned & dust-soiled at edges, lower board slightly warped. Seller Inventory # 003202
