Item description from seller

P.C.C.'s First Book of Computer Games is the first computer game book written by Bob Albrecht at People's Computer Company in 1975. This is a year prior to the invention of Apple I. The book contains several educational programs in BASIC, and encourages playing games in the classroom without using the computer, to teach children how the programming language works. Each game is devoted a page or two to demonstrate how the game works, and the code is listed in the back of the book. Founded in Oct 1972 as a large-format bimonthly newsprint publication called "People's Computer Company." Name changed to "People's Computers" beginning with the May-June 1977 issue and the format changed to a more conventional magazine style, albeit with uncoated paper. In very good condition with minor wear to the covers. First edition. 11" - 15".
