Hardcover, in dustjacket. First American Edition. VERY slight bumping at the spine extremities. Small (~3/16") spot at the lower spine; and some rubbing along the flap folds. Some very faint fading to the cloth near the spine tail. Perhaps just a bit of VERY faint sunning along the bottom board edges. Else the red cloth binding is quite clean & bright. Some age-toning to the map endpapers. A bit of very light freckling on the page top and fore-edges. Else pages clean. The DJ shows some wear, light bumping at the spine extremities; light chipping at the spine extremities and corner tips. ~1/8" chip at the top edge of the DJ rear inner flap. A couple of short (<3/8") closed tears at eh top edge of the DJ. Vertical crease on the DJ rear inner flap. There is some sun-lightening to the DJ spine. There is some red staining on the inner DJ at the lower spine (over the very slightly faded spot on the spine cloth) and bottom front edge, but it does not show on the outer DJ.
