The author came to the Four Corners region of Texas in 1923, young and fresh from teacher training he had been hired to teach in Haskell County. These 229 pages descrie his various teaching positions and advetures. He graduated to superintendent and spent a time selling school supplies. B/W illustrations complement the TEXT.
