Gripping: couldn't put it down when I opened it at the chapter on freshwater pearl fishing! HB. Grey cloth boards with dark-blue lettering to spine; boards have some wear and rubbing to edges & corners and are a bit grubby with small reddish stains on back board; some wrinkling adjacent back fore-edge. "Browning" to half-title and last page. B&w frontis, intro. xvi, and then 236 pages incl. various knot diagrams, + 11 b&w photo illus. Book tight and clean.
